D24 Spring exhibition closes.

The extension of the first installment of the D24 exhibit brought the work of our 24 artist's prints to Pender Island located amongst the Southern Gulf Islands of British Columbia.

The exhibit opened on May 20th at Morning Bay winery and was widely received by tourists both international and local as well as the island's residents.

A special thanks to our sponsors WMCreative, Dont' Look Creative Society, Kimprints, Opus Art Supplies, Cariboo Brewing and Wallfarmers.ca!
Without the support of these culturally minded companies projects like Design24 would not be possible!

May Long winery reception.

We're pleased to announce that we will be hosting a second reception of Design24's first season of prints this May long weekend at *Morning Bay Vineyards and Winery.

Morning Bay Winery.
Sunday May 20th
6-10pm

Committed to promoting culture and the lifestyle of wine, the vineyard and winery are located in the sparkling BC Gulf Islands region of southern Georgia Strait in British Columbia.

As the island is heavily booked though-out the May long weekend with dozens of events accomodations can be slim so if you're traveling from out of town book lodging now!

*For more information see the EXHIBITION SPACE section of the blog.

Extended print alterations

Contributing artist Neal Nolan is in progress of altering 10 additional prints of his Carry On  piece which can be viewed in our contributing artists section.

The alteration of each print makes them individual and one of a kind.

Also printed on 10ml thick archival paper, the Keep Calm series broadens the original conceptual theme of Carry On, based around western motivational posters and mantras, extending the motivational cliche from its generic notion and into the social platform; exploring the individual ego in context with the slogan's cliche.

The Keep Calm series previews its first altered print on Friday, April 27th at Rufus Rukus Gallery in Brooklyn, NY.

Launch reception.

Friday night's opening reception of the first ever Design24 exhibit went off with nearly 200 people in attendance and a variety of prints sold.

Prints are also now available online for $50 via our  CONTRIBUTING ARTISTS section of the blog!
